Key Steps and Contents

KEY STEPS
To provide doctors, oncologists, radiotherapists, radiologists and surgeons from specialized units, a full insight into and a complete awareness of all aspects concerning therapeutic procedures carried out by means of hyperthermia along with full information on the techniques involved when applying external hyperthermia together with thermo- sensibilizers or ionized radiation and hyperthermia / locoregional chemio-hyperthermia. To supply all the necessary instrucions as to when and how to apply these methods in the following stages: neoadjuvants, adjuvants or palliatives.

TABLE OF COURSE CONTENTS
A series of propaedeutic aspects of hyperthermia in oncology which include the following: Physical, immunological, biological and pharmacological. Specialized aspects will include the different methods involved in applying hyperthermia in oncology with particular emphasis being given to external capacitive hyperthermia associated with or without chemio-therapy and radio-therapy; radiofrequency in liver cancer, isolated profusion in limbs and liver, along with intrapertoneal chemio- hyperthermia.
